Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 4 spring onions
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 star anise
- 4 cloves
- 2 tsp cardamom powder
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp honey
- sea salt
- olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Make small cuts into the chicken breasts with a sharp knife.
- 3. Place each breast on a separate sheet of baking paper.
- 4. Wash the spring onions thoroughly.
- 5. Trim the hard ends of the spring onions.
- 6. Place the spring onions on the meat.
- 7. Spread the spices evenly over the chicken breasts.
- 8. Pour the soy sauce over the meat.
- 9. Dab the honey onto the chicken breasts.
- 10. Drizzle a little olive oil over them.
- 11. Season with salt to your liking.
- 12. Fold the baking paper into small packets.
- 13. Tie the ends of the packets securely with kitchen twine.
- 14. Place the packets on a baking sheet.
- 15. Bake the packets for 20 minutes in the hot oven.
- 16. Serve the dish with rice.
