  2. 2. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Cut the meat into approximately 2-centimeter cubes.
  4. 4. Peel the shallots and the garlic.
  5. 5. Slice the shallots and garlic into thin slices.
  6. 6. Mix the two types of soy sauce with the Sambal Ulek (a spicy chili paste) in a bowl.
  7. 7. Coat the chicken pieces with the marinade.
  8. 8. Thread the marinated meat pieces onto wooden skewers.
  9. 9. Place the skewers in a dish.
  10. 10. Cover the dish.
  11. 11. Let the skewers marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  12. 12. Finely chop the shallots and garlic for the sauce.
  13. 13. Pulverize the peanuts in a blender into a fine meal.
  14. 14. Mix the peanut meal with the sweet soy sauce, Sambal Ulek, lime juice, and sugar.
