  1. 1. Peel the onion and garlic and chop them finely. Wash the chicken breast, pat it dry, and cut it into small pieces. Wash the bell pepper, eggplant, and zucchini, and cut everything into bite-sized pieces.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the onion and chicken and fry vigorously for 3 minutes. Add the garlic, bell pepper, eggplant, and zucchini, and fry everything over medium heat for 6–7 minutes.
  3. 3. Meanwhile, heat the butter in another pan. Add the gnocchi and brown them over medium heat, turning occasionally.
  4. 4. Wash the herbs, shake them dry, and chop the leaves finely. Add the herbs, tomato paste, and chopped tomatoes to the chicken ratatouille and simmer uncovered for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Season the chicken ratatouille with salt and pepper and serve with the gnocchi.
