  3. 3. Mix all ingredients except the large onions to make a marinade.
  4. 4. Place the meat strips in the marinade for a few hours.
  5. 5. Mix the yeast with the sugar and a little warm water until it is liquid.
  6. 6. Mix the flour with 1 teaspoon of salt.
  7. 7. Knead the flour together with the yeast and the rest of the water into a smooth dough.
  8. 8. Add a little more water or flour if necessary, depending on the consistency of the dough.
  9. 9. Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free place for 60 minutes.
  10. 10. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.

  12. 12. Cut the onions into wedges.
  13. 13. Dust a work surface with flour.
