🍽️ Oven Chicken with Colorful Vegetables

Ingredients
- 1 chicken (approx. 1.2 kg)
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 bell peppers
- 150 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 chili pepper
- 150 g chorizo
- 4 sprigs thyme
- 200 ml dry white wine
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- sea salt
- pepper (from the mill)

Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
- 2. Grease a baking dish with a little fat to prevent sticking.
- 3. Wash the chicken meat and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Divide the chicken into 6 to 8 pieces. You can optionally remove the skin.
- 5. Place the chicken pieces into the prepared baking dish.
- 6. Peel the onions and cut them into thin strips.
- 7. Cut the garlic into very small cubes.
- 8. Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove the seeds, and cut them into strips.
- 9. Wash the tomatoes and halve them.
- 10. Wash the chili pepper, remove the seeds, and chop it finely.
- 11. Distribute all the prepared vegetables evenly over the chicken in the dish.
- 12. Dice the sausage and sprinkle the pieces over the vegetables.
- 13. Distribute the thyme sprigs or chopped thyme on top.
- 14. Pour the wine over everything in the dish.
- 15. Drizzle the dish with oil.
- 16. Season everything generously with salt and pepper.
- 17. Place the dish in the oven and braise for 30 to 45 minutes until cooked through.
