🍽️ Chicken Thighs with Thyme-Orange Marinade

Ingredients
- 1 untreated orange
- 5 sprigs thyme
- 8 coriander seeds
- 5 pink peppercorns
- 3 white peppercorns
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 4 chicken drumsticks (kitchen-ready)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the orange under hot water and pat it dry.
- 2. Finely grate the orange peel and squeeze out the juice.
- 3. Wash the thyme sprigs and shake off excess water.
- 4. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems.
- 5. Crush the spices in a mortar.
- 6. Mix the crushed spices with the thyme, orange peel, orange juice, and olive oil to form a marinade.
- 7. Wash the chicken thighs and pat them dry.
- 8. Split the chicken thighs at the joint into two pieces.
- 9. Coat the chicken pieces with the marinade.
- 10. Let the chicken pieces marinate covered for approx. 2 hours.
- 11. Place the chicken pieces on the hot grill.
- 12. Grill the chicken pieces until golden brown, turning occasionally, for approx. 10 minutes.
