🍽️ Chicken and Potato Skewers

Ingredients
- 400 g very small potatoes (e.g. trippers)
- salt
- 1 organic lemon
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 1.5 tbsp liquid honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 600 g chicken breast fillet
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Place the unpeeled potatoes in a pot with salted water.
- 3. Cook the potatoes with the lid on for 15 minutes.
- 4. Drain the water.
- 5. Peel the potatoes.
- 6. Cut the potatoes in half.
- 7. Rinse the lemon under hot water.
- 8. Dry the lemon with a cloth.
- 9. Grate 2 teaspoons of the lemon zest.
- 10. Cut the lemon in half.
- 11. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 12. Wash the thyme sprigs.
- 13. Dry the thyme sprigs.
- 14. Pluck the small thyme leaves from the stems.
- 15. Mix the lemon juice with the lemon zest.
- 16. Add honey, oil, and the thyme leaves to the mixture.
- 17. Stir everything together to form a marinade.
- 18. Cut the chicken breast into cubes of about 3 centimeters.
- 19. Place the chicken meat and potatoes in a freezer bag.
- 20. Pour the marinade over the meat and potatoes.
- 21. Let the ingredients marinate for at least 1 hour.
- 22. Thread the marinated meat and potatoes onto wooden skewers.
- 23. Season the skewers with salt and pepper just before grilling.
- 24. Place the skewers on a grill surface lined with aluminum foil.
- 25. Grill the skewers for about 10 minutes.
- 26. Turn the skewers regularly so they cook evenly on all sides.
