  2. 2. Score the surface of the meat pieces with a sharp knife. Make cuts about 0.5 centimeters deep.
  3. 3. Place the meat pieces in a shallow baking dish.
  4. 4. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Pour lemon juice over the pieces.
  6. 6. Let the marinade soak in for about 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Peel the ginger and garlic cloves.
  8. 8. Grate the ginger finely into a bowl.
  9. 9. Press the garlic through a garlic press directly into the bowl with the ginger.
  10. 10. Mix the yogurt with all the spices for the marinade.
  11. 11. Coat the chicken pieces generously with the yogurt marinade.
  12. 12. Seal the dish with aluminum foil.
  13. 13. Marinate the poultry for 8 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
  14. 14. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  15. 15. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
  16. 16. Place the marinated meat pieces on the tray.
  17. 17. Bake the chicken for 35 to 40 minutes.
  18. 18. Brush the meat with the remaining marinade repeatedly during the cooking time.
