  3. 3. Mix everything thoroughly until the spices adhere well.
  4. 4. Cover the bowl.
  5. 5. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours to let the marinade soak in.
  6. 6. Take the chicken pieces out of the marinade and pat them dry.
  7. 7. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and the butter in a high non-stick pan.
  8. 8. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown on all sides.
  9. 9. Reduce the heat and cover the pan.
  10. 10. Let the meat simmer for 25 minutes.
  11. 11. Turn the chicken occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  12. 12. Remove the cooked chicken pieces from the pan.
  13. 13. Place the chicken on a large plate.
  14. 14. Cut the oranges and the lime, including the peel, into pieces.
  15. 15. Pour the remaining marinade from the bowl into the pan.
