  1. 1. Rinse the lime under hot water and pat it dry.
  2. 2. Cut the lime in half and squeeze out the juice.
  3. 3. Wash the chicken and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  4. 4. Cut the meat into thin strips.
  5. 5. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press.
  6. 6. Place the chicken in a bowl.
  7. 7. Add 2 tablespoons of oil, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, the garlic, chili, some salt, coriander, and cumin.
  8. 8. Mix everything well, cover the bowl, and let the marinade sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  9. 9. Peel the onion and slice it into rings.
  10. 10. Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and slice it into strips.
  11. 11. Wash the tomatoes and remove the hard stem ends.
  12. 12. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
  13. 13. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
  14. 14. Peel the skin and cut the flesh into cubes.
  15. 15. Mix the avocado cubes immediately with the remaining lime juice.
  16. 16. Heat the remaining oil in a pan.
  17. 17. Take the chicken out of the marinade and sear it for about 2 minutes.
  18. 18. Add the onion rings and pepper strips and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  19. 19. Fold in the tomato cubes.
  20. 20. Warm the tortillas briefly in a dry pan over medium heat.
  21. 21. Spread the fajita filling onto the tortillas.
  22. 22. Place the avocado cubes on top.
  23. 23. Fold the tortillas and serve.
