🍽️ Chicken and Mushroom Skewers

Ingredients
- 1 small red chili pepper
- 0.5 tsp olive oil
- salt
- 100 g small mushrooms
- 80 g chicken breast fillet
- 0.5 bunch coriander
Instructions
- 1. Place the wooden skewers in a bowl of lukewarm water.
- 2. Let the skewers soak for at least 30 minutes.
- 3. Rinse the chili pepper under running water.
- 4. Cut the chili pepper in half lengthwise.
- 5. Remove the seeds and white pith from the chili.
- 6. Rinse the deseeded chili briefly again.
- 7. Finely chop the chili.
- 8. Place the chopped chili into a small bowl.
- 9. Add the oil to the chili.
- 10. Add a pinch of salt.
- 11. Stir the mixture well.
- 12. Remove the skewers from the water.
- 13. Dry the skewers with a cloth.
- 14. Rinse the mushrooms under cold water.
- 15. Dry the mushrooms with kitchen paper.
- 16. Cut the mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.
- 17. Rinse the chicken fillet under cold water.
- 18. Dry the chicken fillet with kitchen paper.
- 19. Cut the chicken fillet into equal-sized cubes.
- 20. Thread alternating chicken cubes and mushroom pieces onto the skewers.
- 21. Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- 22. Brush the skewers with the chili-oil mixture.
- 23. Place the skewers in the hot pan.
- 24. Fry the skewers until golden brown on all sides.
- 25. Rinse the coriander under cold water.
- 26. Shake the coriander dry.
- 27. Pick the coriander leaves off the stems.
- 28. Sprinkle the coriander leaves over the finished skewers.
- 29. Plate the skewers.
