🍽️ Crispy Roast Chicken with Honey-Paprika Glaze

Ingredients
- 2 roast chickens (approx. 1 kg each)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 sprigs parsley
- 80 g butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp paprika powder (hot)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Thoroughly wash the chickens.
- 3. Pat the chickens completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 4. Season the inside of the chickens with salt and pepper.
- 5. Wash the parsley.
- 6. Shake the parsley dry.
- 7. Place the parsley inside the cavity of the chickens.
- 8. Melt the butter together with the honey in a small saucepan.
- 9. Stir the paprika powder into the melted mixture.
- 10. Season the mixture with a little salt and pepper.
- 11. Brush the chickens all over with the glaze.
- 12. Place the chickens breast-side up on the rack.
- 13. Slide a drip pan under the rack.
- 14. Place the chicken on the middle rack in the oven.
- 15. Roast the chicken for 50 to 60 minutes.
- 16. Brush the chicken repeatedly with the glaze in between.
