🍽️ Oven Meatballs with Vegetables

Ingredients
- 1 stale roll
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 600 g minced meat (mixed)
- cornstarch
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 2. Cut the bread roll into small cubes.
- 3. Place the bread cubes in lukewarm water and let them soak.
- 4. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 5. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 6. Heat some oil in a frying pan.
- 7. Sauté the onions and garlic in the hot oil until translucent.
- 8. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 9. Let the onion mixture cool down slightly.
- 10. Squeeze the soaked bread well to remove excess liquid.
- 11. Finely chop the parsley.
- 12. Mix the minced meat with the egg, parsley, squeezed bread, and the cooled onion mixture.
- 13. Add cornstarch if necessary.
- 14. Stir until the mixture is moldable and not too soft.
- 15. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 16. Form small balls from the meat mixture.
- 17. Roll the meatballs in the cornstarch.
- 18. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 19. Place the meatballs on the baking tray.
- 20. Bake the meatballs in the oven for about 15 minutes.
- 21. Serve the meatballs warm or cold.
- 22. Add vegetables as a side dish.
