  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  2. 2. Cut the bread roll into small cubes.
  3. 3. Place the bread cubes in lukewarm water and let them soak.
  4. 4. Peel the onion and the garlic.
  5. 5. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
  6. 6. Heat some oil in a frying pan.
  7. 7. Sauté the onions and garlic in the hot oil until translucent.
  8. 8. Remove the pan from the heat.
  9. 9. Let the onion mixture cool down slightly.
  10. 10. Squeeze the soaked bread well to remove excess liquid.
  11. 11. Finely chop the parsley.
  12. 12. Mix the minced meat with the egg, parsley, squeezed bread, and the cooled onion mixture.
  13. 13. Add cornstarch if necessary.
  14. 14. Stir until the mixture is moldable and not too soft.
  15. 15. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  16. 16. Form small balls from the meat mixture.
  17. 17. Roll the meatballs in the cornstarch.
  18. 18. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  19. 19. Place the meatballs on the baking tray.
  20. 20. Bake the meatballs in the oven for about 15 minutes.
  21. 21. Serve the meatballs warm or cold.
  22. 22. Add vegetables as a side dish.
