🍽️ Grilled Pepper and Meatball Skewers

Ingredients
- 3 Bell Peppers
- 500 g Ground Beef
- 2 Eggs
- 5 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Olive Oil
- Wood Skewers
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the bell peppers under running water.
- 2. Cut each pepper in half lengthwise.
- 3. Remove the green stem base and the inner core along with the seeds.
- 4. Place the minced meat, eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, and plenty of pepper into a bowl.
- 5. Work the ingredients vigorously by hand until a uniform mixture forms.
- 6. Lightly wet your hands with water.
- 7. Roll the meat mixture into small, evenly sized balls.
- 8. Brush the cut surfaces of the pepper halves thinly with olive oil.
- 9. Thread one pepper half and two meatballs alternately onto a skewer.
- 10. Repeat the threading process until all ingredients are used up.
- 11. Place the finished skewers on a preheated charcoal grill.
- 12. Alternatively, you can cook the skewers under the oven grill (grill function).
- 13. Grill the skewers until the meatballs are cooked through inside.
- 14. The peppers should have golden-brown grill marks.
