🍽️ Juicy Meatballs in Creamy Onion-Lemon Sauce

Ingredients
- 600 g beef mince
- 3 onions
- 1 bunch parsley (finely chopped)
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch paprika powder
- 1 tsp mustard
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 lemon
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- parsley (for garnishing)
- paprika powder (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- 1. Peel all the onions.
- 2. Finely chop one of the onions.
- 3. Cut the remaining onions lengthwise into thin slices.
- 4. Mix the minced meat with the finely chopped onions, parsley, eggs, mustard, and spices.
- 5. Shape the mixture into oval meatballs.
- 6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 7. Fry the meatballs until golden brown on all sides.
- 8. Remove the meatballs from the pan and keep them warm.
- 9. Peel the lemon.
- 10. Slice the lemon into thin rounds.
- 11. Cut a small piece of the lemon peel into very fine strips.
- 12. Sauté the onion slices in the remaining pan juices.
- 13. Add the lemon slices, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the pan.
- 14. Warm the plates.
- 15. Place the meatballs on the warmed plates.
- 16. Pour the onion sauce over the meatballs.
- 17. Sprinkle the dish with paprika.
- 18. Garnish with fresh parsley.
- 19. Serve the dish immediately.
