  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  2. 2. Grease a baking dish with some butter.
  3. 3. Place the minced meat into a large bowl.
  4. 4. Soak the bread roll in a little water.
  5. 5. Squeeze out the water from the bread and tear it into small pieces.
  6. 6. Add the bread pieces and one egg to the minced meat.
  7. 7. Peel the onion and chop it finely.
  8. 8. Add the onions and marjoram to the minced meat.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  10. 10. Press the meat mixture evenly into the baking dish.
  11. 11. Wash the apple and peel it.
  12. 12. Cut the apple into quarters and remove the core.
  13. 13. Dice the apple flesh into small cubes.
  14. 14. Wash the bell peppers and cut them in half.
  15. 15. Remove the seeds and the stem from the peppers.
  16. 16. Dice the peppers into small cubes.
  17. 17. Whisk the cream and crème fraîche until smooth.
  18. 18. Add the apple and pepper cubes, as well as the remaining eggs, to the cream mixture.
  19. 19. Season the cream mixture with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  20. 20. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the minced meat.
  21. 21. Bake the casserole in the oven for about 45 minutes.
