🍕 Hack Meat Pizza with Fried Egg

Ingredients
- 0.5 cube yeast (approx. 21 g)
- 400 g flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- flour (for the work surface)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 500 g mixed ground meat
- olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh chopped rosemary
- 1 tsp fresh chopped thyme
- 200 g pureed tomatoes
- pepper (from the mill)
- 150 g corn (can)
- 3 tbsp black, pitted olives
- 100 g freshly grated cheese (e.g. Gouda)
- 3 eggs
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in 200 milliliters of lukewarm water.
- 2. Mix the flour with the salt and the sugar in a bowl.
- 3. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
- 4. Pour the yeast water and the oil into the well.
- 5. Knead everything quickly with your hands into a smooth dough.
- 6. Work the dough vigorously on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- 7. Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 9. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 10. Fry the minced meat in a hot pan with 2 tablespoons of oil until crumbly.
- 11. Add the onion and the garlic to the meat.
- 12. Stir in the herbs and the tomatoes.
- 13. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 14. Let the filling simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 15. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 16. Mix in the drained corn and the olives.
- 17. Knead the dough on a floured surface once more.
- 18. Roll the dough out into a rectangle of about 25 by 35 centimeters.
- 19. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (30 by 40 centimeters).
- 20. Spread the minced meat mixture evenly over the dough.
- 21. Cover the pizza with the cheese.
- 22. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
- 23. After about 10 minutes of baking time, crack the eggs directly onto the pizza.
- 24. Let the eggs cook along with the pizza.
- 25. Serve the finished pizza immediately.
