  1. 1. Peel the onions and garlic. Dice both ingredients very finely.
  2. 2. Remove the stems and seeds from the chili peppers. Finely chop the chili.
  3. 3. Wash the celery and chop it into small pieces.
  4. 4. Wash the green bell peppers. Cut them in half lengthwise, remove the seeds and the white inner membrane. Dice the flesh.
  5. 5. Heat some oil in a very large pan.
  6. 6. Fry the minced meat in portions until it is crumbly.
  7. 7. Return all the fried meat to the pan along with the remaining oil.
  8. 8. Pour in 200 to 300 milliliters of broth.
  9. 9. Simmer the meat over medium heat for 10 to 20 minutes until the liquid has almost completely evaporated.
  10. 10. Add the diced pepper, onions, chili, garlic, and celery to the pan.
  11. 11. Sauté the vegetables briefly while stirring.
  12. 12. Pour the remaining broth into the pan.
  13. 13. Cover the pan and let the stew simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
  14. 14. Add the kidney beans to the stew.
  15. 15. Season the dish to taste with salt, pepper, and cumin.
  16. 16. Let the stew simmer for another 15 minutes.
