🍽️ Spicy Spread with Minced Meat and Eggplant

Ingredients
- 1 red chili
- 3 fresh garlic cloves
- 1 small eggplant
- 5 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 350 g beef mince
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 0.5 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 250 ml meat broth
- 80 g feta
- basil (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the chili peppers thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the seeds and slice the chili peppers into thin rings.
- 3. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 4. Finely chop the garlic.
- 5. Wash the eggplant.
- 6. Cut the eggplant into small cubes.
- 7. Heat the rapeseed oil in a pot.
- 8. Fry the minced meat until it is crumbly and browned.
- 9. Add the eggplant cubes, chopped garlic, and chili rings to the meat.
- 10. Continue to fry the vegetables while stirring for 3 to 4 minutes.
- 11. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 12. Deglaze the mixture with the broth.
- 13. Let the mixture simmer while stirring occasionally.
- 14. Wait until all the liquid has evaporated.
- 15. Let the minced meat mixture cool down to room temperature.
- 16. Crumble the feta cheese into small pieces.
- 17. Mix the crumbled feta with the cooled meat mixture.
- 18. Garnish the spread with fresh basil leaves.
