🍽️ Crispy Meatloaf with Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 750 g lean beef mince
- 100 g fresh mushrooms (finely chopped)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp parsley (finely chopped)
- 1 gherkin (finely chopped)
- 1 egg
- 50 ml whipping cream
- 125 g Alpine cheese (finely chopped)
- 2 rolls (soaked in water)
- pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 clove garlic
- 200 g breakfast bacon (finely chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy.
- 3. Remove the bacon from the pan and place it on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.
- 4. Sauté the mushrooms and onions in the remaining bacon fat until translucent.
- 5. Let the mushroom and onion mixture cool down slightly.
- 6. Crush the bread rolls and tear them into small pieces.
- 7. Add the minced meat, egg, cream, fried bacon, cheese, parsley, pickles, and cooled bread pieces to a large bowl.
- 8. Mix the ingredients until you have a uniform mixture.
- 9. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 10. Optionally press in a clove of garlic and mix everything well.
- 11. Lightly grease a loaf pan.
- 12. Fill the meat mixture into the prepared pan.
- 13. Bake the meatloaf in the oven for 70 minutes.
- 14. Turn the finished loaf out onto a wooden board.
- 15. Slice the meatloaf.
- 16. Serve the loaf optionally with a salad made of root vegetables or green leaf salad.
- 17. Serve with fresh white bread.
