  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy.
  3. 3. Remove the bacon from the pan and place it on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.
  4. 4. Sauté the mushrooms and onions in the remaining bacon fat until translucent.
  5. 5. Let the mushroom and onion mixture cool down slightly.
  6. 6. Crush the bread rolls and tear them into small pieces.
  7. 7. Add the minced meat, egg, cream, fried bacon, cheese, parsley, pickles, and cooled bread pieces to a large bowl.
  8. 8. Mix the ingredients until you have a uniform mixture.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  10. 10. Optionally press in a clove of garlic and mix everything well.
  11. 11. Lightly grease a loaf pan.
  12. 12. Fill the meat mixture into the prepared pan.
  13. 13. Bake the meatloaf in the oven for 70 minutes.
  14. 14. Turn the finished loaf out onto a wooden board.
  15. 15. Slice the meatloaf.
  16. 16. Serve the loaf optionally with a salad made of root vegetables or green leaf salad.
  17. 17. Serve with fresh white bread.
