🍽️ Meatballs with Creamy Sour Cream Dip

Ingredients
- 250 g Crème fraîche
- 2 tbsp Crème fraîche
- salt
- lemon juice
- 1 bread roll (from the day before)
- 2 spring onions
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 chili pepper
- 600 g mixed minced meat
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp paprika powder (hot)
- oil (for frying)
- lettuce leaves (for serving)
Instructions
- 1. Mix the sour cream and crème fraîche in a bowl until smooth.
- 2. Season the dip mixture with salt and a splash of lemon juice to taste.
- 3. Soak the bread roll in lukewarm water until soft.
- 4. Wash the spring onions, trim the ends, and chop them finely.
- 5. Peel the garlic and chop it finely as well.
- 6. Wash the chili pepper, remove the stem, and chop it finely.
- 7. Place the minced meat into a large mixing bowl.
- 8. Squeeze the soaked bread well and add it to the minced meat.
- 9. Add the chopped spring onions, garlic, chili, parsley, egg, salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 10. Knead all ingredients well until a homogeneous mixture forms.
- 11. Form small balls from the meat mixture.
- 12. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan.
- 13. Fry the meatballs in the hot oil on all sides until golden brown (approx. 6-8 minutes).
- 14. Let the finished balls drain on kitchen paper.
- 15. Serve the meatballs on lettuce leaves with the prepared dip.
