🍽️ Fresh Cucumber and Dill Salsa

Ingredients
- 4 spring onions
- 1 cucumber
- 1 bunch dill
- 4 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- 1. Wash the spring onions thoroughly and shake them dry.
- 2. Cut the white parts of the spring onions into small cubes.
- 3. Cut the green parts of the spring onions into fine rings.
- 4. Peel the cucumber and cut it in half lengthwise.
- 5. Remove the seeds from the cucumber halves using a teaspoon.
- 6. Cut the cucumber flesh into cubes of approx. 0.5 cm.
- 7. Wash the dill thoroughly and shake it dry.
- 8. Finely chop the dill.
- 9. Mix vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and sugar in a small bowl.
- 10. Season the vinaigrette (a sauce made of oil and acid) to taste.
- 11. Add the diced spring onions, cucumber cubes, and chopped dill to a large bowl.
- 12. Pour the vinaigrette over the vegetables and mix everything well.
- 13. Let the salsa marinate for approx. 20 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
- 14. Transfer the finished salsa into a large bowl or four small serving dishes.
