  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the peppers under running water.
  2. 2. Remove the stem base and seeds from the pepper.
  3. 3. Halve the pepper lengthwise.
  4. 4. Cut the pepper flesh into small cubes.
  5. 5. Peel the cucumber completely.
  6. 6. Cut the peeled cucumber into small pieces as well.
  7. 7. Wash the fresh herbs under cold water.
  8. 8. Shake the herbs dry to remove excess water.
  9. 9. Pluck the leaves from the tough stems of the herbs.
  10. 10. Place the prepared pepper and cucumber pieces along with the herb leaves into a blender.
  11. 11. Add the lemon juice and yogurt to the blender.
  12. 12. Add half of the buttermilk to the blender.
  13. 13. Secure the lid of the blender tightly.
  14. 14. Blend the ingredients thoroughly until a smooth mixture forms.
  15. 15. Add the remaining buttermilk to the mixture.
  16. 16. Season the dip to taste with salt and pepper.
  17. 17. Pour the finished mixture into four individual glasses.
  18. 18. Garnish each dip with a few fresh herbs.
  19. 19. Serve the dip immediately.
