  4. 4. Peel the onions and the garlic clove.
  5. 5. Mince the garlic finely.
  6. 6. Chop the onions into coarse pieces.
  7. 7. Heat the oil in a large pot.
  8. 8. Add the meat to the pot.
  9. 9. Sear the meat on high heat.
  10. 10. Stir the meat constantly.
  11. 11. Cook the meat until it is brown.
  12. 12. Add the onion pieces to the meat.
  13. 13. Add the cumin.
  14. 14. Sauté the onions and cumin briefly.
  15. 15. Stir in the garlic.
  16. 16. Stir in the tomato paste.
  17. 17. Deglaze the goulash with the red wine.
  18. 18. Add about 300 milliliters of meat broth.

  20. 20. Cover the pot halfway.
