Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 lime
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 0.5 jalapeño
- 6 sprigs cilantro
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Cut the avocados in half and carefully remove the pit. Scoop the soft flesh out of the skin with a spoon and place it in a bowl. Mash the flesh coarsely with a fork.
- 2. Cut the lime in half and squeeze out the juice. Drizzle two tablespoons of lime juice over the mashed avocado.
- 3. Peel the onion and garlic and cut them into very small cubes. Cut the jalapeño pepper in half lengthwise, remove the seeds, wash it, and chop it finely. Wash the cilantro leaves, shake off excess water, and chop them finely as well.
- 4. Stir the onion, garlic, jalapeño, and three-quarters of the chopped cilantro into the avocado mixture. Season the guacamole with salt. Serve the dish sprinkled with the remaining fresh cilantro.
