  1. 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes.
  2. 2. Place the potato cubes into a pot.
  3. 3. Cover the potatoes completely with water.
  4. 4. Add one teaspoon of salt and a generous splash of olive oil.
  5. 5. Bring the water to a boil.
  6. 6. Meanwhile, cut the kale into thin strips.
  7. 7. Rinse the kale strips thoroughly.
  8. 8. Rinse the kale until the running water is only slightly greenish.
  9. 9. Let the potatoes cook for about 20 minutes.
  10. 10. Season the potato broth with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. 11. Optionally add some granulated vegetable broth if you prefer a stronger flavor.
  12. 12. Add another generous splash of olive oil to the pot.
  13. 13. Add the washed kale to the pot.
  14. 14. Let the stew simmer for another ten minutes.
  15. 15. Cook the kale until it is tender but still has a bite.
  16. 16. Serve the stew in individual bowls.
  17. 17. Place a few thin slices of paprika sausage into each bowl.
  18. 18. Add some garlic.
  19. 19. Plate the dish and serve it hot.
