🍽️ Chicken Breast with Green Vegetables

Ingredients
- 400 g beans
- 300 g snow peas
- 4 chicken breast fillets (approx. 130 g each)
- 2 sprigs basil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 onion
- 30 g butter
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the vegetables thoroughly and remove any tough stems or inedible parts.
- 2. Wash the chicken breast fillets and then pat them completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Wash the basil and shake it dry to remove excess water.
- 4. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems and slice them into thin strips.
- 5. Season the chicken meat evenly on all sides with salt and pepper.
- 6. Peel the onion and cut it into very small cubes.
- 7. Heat butter and olive oil in a large, coated pan.
- 8. Fry the chicken breast fillets over medium heat for about 10 minutes on each side.
- 9. After turning the meat pieces, distribute the onion cubes and the prepared vegetables in the pan.
- 10. Pour about 100 milliliters of water into the pan.
- 11. Let the vegetables cook together with the meat under a lid until done.
- 12. Finally, season the dish to taste with salt and pepper.
- 13. Sprinkle the finished dish with the sliced basil leaves.
- 14. Slice the chicken meat into thin slices before serving.
