🍽️ Crispy Green Asparagus with Olive Oil Dip

Ingredients
- 1 kg green asparagus
- 1 tsp salt
- Best olive oil
- 1 small bowl of colorful mixed pepper (coarsely ground)
- coarse sea salt
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the green asparagus under running water.
- 2. Trim off the woody lower ends of the asparagus stalks.
- 3. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
- 4. Add a generous pinch of salt to the boiling water.
- 5. Add the asparagus to the salted water and cook for 10 minutes until tender-crisp.
- 6. Remove the asparagus from the water using a slotted spoon.
- 7. Let the asparagus drain well in a colander.
- 8. Take four small glasses or bowls for the portions.
- 9. Pour two to three tablespoons of olive oil into each glass.
- 10. Stand the drained asparagus stalks upright in the glasses with the oil.
- 11. Serve a mixed pepper blend and coarse sea salt on the side.
