  1. 1. Wash the green asparagus thoroughly.
  2. 2. Trim about 2 cm off the bottom ends of each stalk.
  3. 3. Bring water to a boil and add some salt.
  4. 4. Cook the asparagus in it for about 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. 5. Remove the asparagus from the water immediately.
  6. 6. Place it in a bowl of ice water to cool it down.
  7. 7. Let it cool in the water to keep its green color.
  8. 8. Heat some butter in a frying pan.
  9. 9. Fry the turkey bacon until crispy.
  10. 10. Grate the mozzarella finely.
  11. 11. Drain the cooled asparagus well.
  12. 12. Place the asparagus in a baking dish.
  13. 13. Spread the crispy turkey bacon over the asparagus.
  14. 14. Distribute the grated mozzarella evenly on top.
  15. 15. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (fan: 180 °C, gas: setting 3).
  16. 16. Bake the dish in the oven for about 15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
  17. 17. Remove the dish from the oven.
  18. 18. Serve the dish immediately, while still hot.
