  2. 2. Remove tough stems or wilted green parts from the salad.
  3. 3. Spin the salad dry, for example in a salad spinner.
  4. 4. Tear the salad leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  5. 5. Rinse the tomatoes under running water.
  6. 6. Cut the tomatoes in half.
  7. 7. Distribute the salad and tomatoes onto four plates.
  8. 8. Pour the balsamic vinegar into a small bowl.
  9. 9. Add the lemon juice to the vinegar.
  10. 10. Add two to three tablespoons of water.
  11. 11. Add the mustard to the bowl.
  12. 12. Add the honey to the bowl.
  13. 13. Add the olive oil to the bowl.
  14. 14. Whisk all the dressing ingredients together well.
