  2. 2. Remove any unwanted leaves and let the greens drain well.
  3. 3. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.
  4. 4. Mix the onion rings with the leaf salad.
  5. 5. Spread the salad mixture onto a plate.
  6. 6. Slice the smoked trout into thin pieces.
  7. 7. Place the fish slices on top of the salad.
