  3. 3. Peel the carrots.
  4. 4. Dice the carrots into small cubes.
  5. 5. Peel the garlic and the onion.
  6. 6. Finely chop the garlic and the onion.
  7. 7. Heat some oil in a pot.
  8. 8. Sauté the garlic and onion briefly in the hot oil.
  9. 9. Deglaze the mixture with the vegetable broth.
  10. 10. Add the potato slices to the soup.
  11. 11. Season the soup with salt to taste.
  12. 12. Simmer the soup over low heat for about 10 minutes.
  13. 13. Add the carrots, fava beans, pasta, and peas to the pot.
  14. 14. Cook everything together for another 8 minutes.
