  1. 1. Wash the grapes thoroughly.
  2. 2. Let the grapes drain in a sieve.
  3. 3. Pluck the individual grapes off the stems.
  4. 4. Halve each grape.
  5. 5. Peel the kiwis completely.
  6. 6. Slice the kiwis into rounds.
  7. 7. Wash the pears.
  8. 8. Quarter the pears.
  9. 9. Remove the core from the pear quarters.
  10. 10. Cut the pears into thin wedges.
  11. 11. Scoop out the seeds from the melon using a teaspoon.
  12. 12. Cut the melon into wedges.
  13. 13. Peel the melon wedges.
  14. 14. Peel the ginger.
  15. 15. Mince the ginger very finely.
  16. 16. Break the cinnamon stick into four small pieces.
  17. 17. Cut four rectangles from the baking paper.
  18. 18. Each rectangle should be about 35 centimeters long and 25 centimeters wide.
  19. 19. Divide the prepared fruits and ginger into four equal portions.
  20. 20. Place one portion in the center of a baking paper rectangle.
  21. 21. Repeat this for the remaining three packets.
  22. 22. Add one piece of cinnamon stick to each packet.
  23. 23. Add one cardamom pod to each packet.
  24. 24. Drizzle one tablespoon of maple syrup over the fruit in each packet.
  25. 25. Fold the edges of the baking paper upwards.
  26. 26. Seal the packets tightly so they are closed.
  27. 27. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  28. 28. If using fan-assisted heat, set the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
  29. 29. If using gas, set the level to 2 to 3.
  30. 30. Place the packets in the preheated oven.
  31. 31. Cook the packets for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  32. 32. Remove the packets from the oven.
  33. 33. Place them on plates.
  34. 34. Open the packets slightly.
  35. 35. Serve the fruit warm.
