🍰 Fruit Packets from the Oven

Ingredients
- 200 g green seedless grapes
- 2 kiwis
- 300 g green-skinned pears (2 green-skinned pears)
- 300 g small melon (e.g. Galia; 0.5 small melons)
- 8 g ginger (1 piece)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cardamom pods
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- 1. Wash the grapes thoroughly.
- 2. Let the grapes drain in a sieve.
- 3. Pluck the individual grapes off the stems.
- 4. Halve each grape.
- 5. Peel the kiwis completely.
- 6. Slice the kiwis into rounds.
- 7. Wash the pears.
- 8. Quarter the pears.
- 9. Remove the core from the pear quarters.
- 10. Cut the pears into thin wedges.
- 11. Scoop out the seeds from the melon using a teaspoon.
- 12. Cut the melon into wedges.
- 13. Peel the melon wedges.
- 14. Peel the ginger.
- 15. Mince the ginger very finely.
- 16. Break the cinnamon stick into four small pieces.
- 17. Cut four rectangles from the baking paper.
- 18. Each rectangle should be about 35 centimeters long and 25 centimeters wide.
- 19. Divide the prepared fruits and ginger into four equal portions.
- 20. Place one portion in the center of a baking paper rectangle.
- 21. Repeat this for the remaining three packets.
- 22. Add one piece of cinnamon stick to each packet.
- 23. Add one cardamom pod to each packet.
- 24. Drizzle one tablespoon of maple syrup over the fruit in each packet.
- 25. Fold the edges of the baking paper upwards.
- 26. Seal the packets tightly so they are closed.
- 27. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 28. If using fan-assisted heat, set the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
- 29. If using gas, set the level to 2 to 3.
- 30. Place the packets in the preheated oven.
- 31. Cook the packets for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- 32. Remove the packets from the oven.
- 33. Place them on plates.
- 34. Open the packets slightly.
- 35. Serve the fruit warm.
