🍝 Pasta with Green Beans and Pesto

Ingredients
- 250 g green beans
- 150 g whole wheat spaghetti
- salt
- 20 g Parmesan (1 piece)
- 1 tbsp pine nuts
- 2 tbsp green pesto
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add salt.
- 2. Cook the pasta in this salted water until al dente (firm to the bite), as indicated on the package.
- 3. Wash the green beans and remove the tough ends.
- 4. Cut the beans into bite-sized pieces, dividing them into two or three parts depending on their length.
- 5. Add the beans to the boiling pasta water and cook them for 7 to 8 minutes over medium heat until firm to the bite.
- 6. Grate the Parmesan cheese finely.
- 7. Heat a pan and toast the pine nuts over low heat, stirring constantly, until they turn light brown.
- 8. Drain the pasta and beans, but reserve 1 to 2 tablespoons of the pasta cooking water.
- 9. Add the drained pasta and beans to the pan with the pine nuts.
- 10. Keep the pan on the hot stove and stir in the pesto and grated cheese.
- 11. Season the dish to taste with salt and pepper.
- 12. Serve the pasta immediately while warm.
