🍽️ Crispy Green Beans in Wine Batter

Ingredients
- 600 g green beans
- 200 g flour
- 250 ml white wine
- 2 eggs (separated)
- 2 tsp oil
- salt
- frying fat (for deep frying)
Instructions
- 1. Place the sifted flour in a bowl and add a pinch of salt.
- 2. Stir in the white wine until a thick batter forms.
- 3. Separate the eggs by dividing the yolks from the whites.
- 4. Add the egg yolks and oil to the batter and mix well.
- 5. Whisk the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
- 6. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the batter.
- 7. Wash the green beans and trim off the hard ends.
- 8. Blanch the beans in plenty of salted boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 9. Drain the beans and let them cool down.
- 10. Heat plenty of frying oil in a deep pan.
- 11. Dip the beans in batches into the batter.
- 12. Fry the battered beans in the hot oil until golden yellow.
- 13. Place the finished beans on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
