🍽️ Juicy Meat Skewers with Mushrooms and Lime

Ingredients
- 300 g pork tenderloin
- 300 g chicken breast fillet
- 1 lime
- 0.5 organic lemon
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 3 tbsp sunflower oil
- 200 g shiitake mushrooms
- 200 g button mushrooms
- 1 bunch small onions
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)

Instructions
- 1. Place the wooden skewers in a bowl of warm water.
- 2. Rinse the meat under cold water.
- 3. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Cut the meat into uniform cubes.
- 5. Wash the lime and the half lemon under hot water.
- 6. Dry the citrus fruits.
- 7. Grate the lime peel finely to get zest.
- 8. Squeeze the juice from the lime and the lemon.
- 9. Mix the fruit juice with the meat cubes.
- 10. Add fresh thyme leaves and sunflower oil to the marinade.
- 11. Let the meat marinate for 20 minutes.
- 12. Clean the mushrooms thoroughly.
- 13. Peel the onions.
- 14. Halve the onions.
- 15. Thread the meat, mushrooms, and onion halves alternately onto the skewers.
- 16. Grill the skewers on all sides for a total of about 8 minutes.
- 17. Season the skewers finally with salt and pepper.
- 18. Sprinkle the finished skewers with the citrus zest.
