  2. 2. Stir the semolina into the boiling water using a whisk.
  3. 3. Bring the mixture to a brief boil once while stirring continuously.
  4. 4. Remove the pot from the heat and let the porridge swell for 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Peel the mandarin and cut it in half across the middle.
  6. 6. Remove the seeds from the mandarin halves.
  7. 7. Dice the mandarin pieces roughly.
  8. 8. Place the mandarins into a small bowl.
  9. 9. Puree the mandarins briefly with a hand blender.
  10. 10. Stir the mandarin puree into the cooled semolina pudding.
  11. 11. Check the temperature of the porridge before serving.
