🍽️ Roasted Potato Wedges with Gratinated Steak

Ingredients
- 1 kg waxy potatoes
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 dash lemon juice
- paprika powder
- salt
- pepper
- 4 beef steaks
- 2 tomatoes
- 4 slices Parma ham
- 40 g grated Parmesan
- 40 g grated mozzarella
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into wedges.
- 3. Toss the potato wedges with oil, lemon juice, paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
- 4. Place the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 5. Bake the potatoes in the oven for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
- 6. Rinse the steaks briefly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Wash the tomatoes and cut out the hard stem area.
- 8. Slice the tomatoes into even rounds.
- 9. Mix the two different types of cheese in a bowl.
- 10. Heat some oil in a large frying pan.
- 11. Fry the steaks for about 2 minutes on one side.
- 12. Season the steaks with salt and pepper while frying.
- 13. Turn the steaks and place two tomato slices on each.
- 14. Place a slice of ham on the tomatoes.
- 15. Generously sprinkle the steaks with the cheese mixture.
- 16. Close the lid of the pan and fry the steaks for another 5 minutes.
- 17. Continue cooking until the cheese is completely melted.
- 18. Plate the finished steaks.
- 19. Serve the oven potatoes alongside the steaks.
- 20. Serve the dish with a fresh salad.
