🍽️ Baked Asparagus with Ham

Ingredients
- 750 g green asparagus
- 4 slices Katenschinken (without fat edge)
- salt
- 6 eggs (size M)
- 150 g crème fraîche
- 8 tbsp milk
- pepper
- 2 tomatoes
- 80 g Emmentaler
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the asparagus thoroughly. Peel the lower part of the stalks and cut off the woody ends generously. Boil the asparagus for 3 minutes in salted water. Wrap 3 to 4 asparagus stalks in a slice of ham each and place them in a greased baking dish.
- 2. Whisk the eggs with crème fraîche and milk. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Wash the tomatoes and slice them. Grate the cheese.
- 3. Pour the egg cream over the asparagus, place the tomato slices on top, and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Bake the dish in the preheated oven at 220 degrees (Gas: Level 4-5, Fan: 200 degrees) for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve the baked asparagus with ham.
