  3. 3. Add the green beans to the boiling water.
  4. 4. Cook the beans for 8 minutes over medium heat with the lid on.
  5. 5. Bring vegetable broth and thyme to a boil in a saucepan.
  6. 6. Stir in the spelt semolina while stirring constantly.
  7. 7. Let the mixture come to a boil.
  8. 8. Reduce the heat to low and let the semolina swell for about 8 minutes with the lid on.
  9. 9. Stir the semolina occasionally while it swells.
  10. 10. Cut the blue cheese into small cubes.
  11. 11. Drain the cooked beans in a colander.
  12. 12. Season the spelt semolina with salt and pepper to taste.
  13. 13. Place the seasoned semolina into a shallow baking dish.
  14. 14. Spread the drained beans as a wide strip over the semolina.
  15. 15. Scatter the blue cheese cubes evenly over the top.
  16. 16. Preheat the oven with the grill function.
  17. 17. Place the baking dish on the middle rack under the grill.
  18. 18. Gratin the dish for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese has melted.
  19. 19. Remove the dish from the oven.
  20. 20. Sprinkle the finished dish with a little fresh pepper.
