🍽️ Crunchy Oat and Nut Granola

Ingredients
- 125 g Oat Flakes
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp Salt
- 75 g Almond Kernels (5 tbsp)
- 60 g Hazelnut Kernels (4 tbsp)
- 45 g Cashew Kernels (3 tbsp)
- 60 g Walnut Kernels (4 tbsp)
- 4 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 2 tsp Cocoa Powder (10 g; highly defatted)
Instructions
- 1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 2. Put the oats, cinnamon, and salt into a large bowl.
- 3. Add the almonds, hazelnuts, cashew nuts, and walnuts to the bowl.
- 4. Mix all the dry ingredients well together.
- 5. Put the coconut oil, syrup, and cocoa powder into a small saucepan.
- 6. Warm the mixture over low heat until it is liquid.
- 7. Pour the liquid mixture over the oats and nuts.
- 8. Stir everything until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- 9. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking tray.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection 160 degrees or gas mark 2-3).
- 11. Bake the granola in the oven for about 35 minutes.
- 12. Take the tray out occasionally and turn the mixture several times with a wooden spoon.
- 13. Let the granola cool down completely after baking.
- 14. Store the finished granola in an airtight container.
- 15. The granola will keep for about one week.
