  1. 1. Cut a wedge-shaped piece out of the top of the pomegranate.
  2. 2. Carefully halve the fruit over a bowl and release the seeds with gentle pressure.
  3. 3. Wear gloves if possible, as the juice stains heavily.
  4. 4. Set aside one tablespoon of the pomegranate seeds.
  5. 5. Add the remaining pomegranate, the cranberries, and the yoghurt to a tall container.
  6. 6. Blend the mixture finely using a hand blender.
  7. 7. Add sweetener to taste.
  8. 8. Pour in the milk and add ice cubes.
  9. 9. Mix everything briefly until well combined.
  10. 10. Pour the smoothie into two glasses.
  11. 11. Garnish the surface with the reserved pomegranate seeds.
