🍝 Creamy Savoy Cabbage Pasta with Gorgonzola

Ingredients
- 200 g firm-boiling potatoes (2 firm-boiling potatoes)
- 300 g Savoy cabbage (1 piece)
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt
- 400 g whole grain pasta
- 20 g Parmesan (1 piece)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g cream cheese (13 % fat)
- 100 ml milk (1,5 % fat)
- 75 g Gorgonzola
- pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
- 3. Remove the tough stems from the savoy cabbage.
- 4. Wash the savoy cabbage and let it drain well.
- 5. Cut the savoy cabbage into thin strips.
- 6. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 7. Finely chop the garlic.
- 8. Fill a large pot with water and add plenty of salt.
- 9. Bring the salted water to a boil.
- 10. Add the potato cubes to the boiling water.
- 11. Cook the potatoes for 5 minutes.
- 12. Add the pasta to the same pot.
- 13. Cook the pasta al dente, as indicated on the package.
- 14. Grate the Parmesan finely.
- 15. Set the grated Parmesan aside.
- 16. Heat oil in another pot or a large pan.
- 17. Add the savoy cabbage strips to the hot pan.
- 18. Sauté the savoy cabbage, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 4 minutes.
- 19. Add the chopped garlic.
- 20. Sauté the garlic briefly.
- 21. Stir the cream cheese into the pan.
- 22. Pour in the milk.
- 23. Crumble the Gorgonzola into the sauce.
- 24. Stir everything well until it is creamy.
- 25. Let the sauce reduce over low heat.
- 26. Stir frequently while doing so.
- 27. Season the sauce with salt.
- 28. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 29. Grate some nutmeg into the sauce.
- 30. Drain the pasta and the potatoes.
- 31. Let them drain well.
- 32. Reserve 100 milliliters of the cooking water.
- 33. Stir the reserved cooking water into the cheese sauce.
- 34. Take a large bowl that you have warmed beforehand.
- 35. Add the drained pasta and potatoes to the bowl.
- 36. Mix everything well with the sauce.
- 37. Transfer the finished pasta into the bowl.
- 38. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the top.
- 39. Serve the dish immediately.
