  3. 3. Drain the gnocchi and peas and let them drain well.
  4. 4. Halve the bell pepper and remove the seeds.
  5. 5. Wash the bell pepper thoroughly.
  6. 6. Cut the bell pepper into thick strips.
  7. 7. Dice the pepper strips into small pieces.
  8. 8. Finely chop the chives.
  9. 9. Finely chop the basil.
  10. 10. Mix the drained gnocchi with the peas.
  11. 11. Add the diced pepper to the mixture.
  12. 12. Fold in the chopped chives.
  13. 13. Whisk the tomato puree with the vinegar.
  14. 14. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  15. 15. Stir the oil into the sauce.
  16. 16. Fold the chopped basil into the sauce.

  18. 18. Sprinkle the capers over the salad shortly before serving.
