🍽️ Crispy Gnocchi Broccoli Gratin

Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper
- 500 g broccoli florets
- salt
- 500 g gnocchi
- 50 g parmesan (1 piece)
- 30 g butter (2 tbsp)
- 30 g flour (2 tbsp)
- 500 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Wash the bell pepper thoroughly.
- 2. Halve the bell pepper and remove the inside with the seeds.
- 3. Cut the pepper into thin strips.
- 4. Bring water to a boil and add some salt.
- 5. Cook the broccoli in the boiling salted water for about 5 minutes.
- 6. Drain the broccoli.
- 7. Let the broccoli drain well.
- 8. Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water according to the package instructions.
- 9. Drain the gnocchi.
- 10. Let the gnocchi drain well.
- 11. Grate the Parmesan finely.
- 12. Melt the butter in a pot.
- 13. Stir the flour into the melted butter.
- 14. Let the flour mixture sweat briefly.
- 15. Pour the milk into the flour mixture.
- 16. Stir constantly until the sauce comes to a boil.
- 17. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 18. Add the grated Parmesan to the sauce.
- 19. Season the sauce with salt.
- 20. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 21. Grate some fresh nutmeg and add it to the sauce.
- 22. Fill the prepared vegetables and gnocchi into a baking dish.
- 23. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and gnocchi.
- 24. Preheat the oven.
- 25. Set the oven to 225 °C (convection 200 °C or gas level 3–4).
- 26. Bake the gratin for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
