🥤 Spicy Ginger Milk Tea

Ingredients
- 15 g ginger (1 piece)
- 1 tsp black tea (tea leaves)
- 1 cardamom pod
- 1 clove
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch anise
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 100 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- liquid sweetener (to taste)
- 1 star anise
Instructions
- 1. Peel the ginger root.
- 2. Grate the ginger finely or chop it very small.
- 3. Add the tea leaves, cardamom pods, cloves, a pinch of pepper, a pinch of anise, the cinnamon stick, and 150 milliliters of water to a pot.
- 4. Bring the mixture in the pot to a boil.
- 5. Reduce the heat to a low setting.
- 6. Let the tea simmer on low heat for three minutes.
- 7. Add the milk to the pot.
- 8. Let the mixture simmer for another three to four minutes.
- 9. Strain the tea through a sieve into a mug or a tea glass.
- 10. Sweeten the tea to your liking with sweetener.
- 11. Garnish the tea with the star anise.
