🍽️ Spiced Nuts from the Oven

Ingredients
- 200 g almond kernels
- 100 g cashew kernels
- 100 g macadamia nuts
- 100 g pecan nuts
- 2 tbsp liquid honey
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 1 dried chili pepper
- 2 tsp paprika powder (medium hot)
- 1 tsp curry powder
- sea salt
Instructions
- 1. Put all the nuts together with the honey and the oil into a large bowl.
- 2. Crumble the chili pepper into small pieces.
- 3. Add the crumbled chili, the paprika powder, the curry, and a pinch of salt to the nuts.
- 4. Stir the mixture very thoroughly until every nut is evenly coated with the spices.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 225 °C (200 °C with fan or gas level 3-4).
- 6. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 7. Spread the spiced nuts evenly on the prepared tray.
- 8. Roast the nuts in the hot oven for 7 to 8 minutes.
- 9. Turn the nuts several times during roasting so they turn golden brown evenly.
- 10. Remove the tray from the oven when the nuts are golden brown.
- 11. Let the nuts cool down completely on the tray.
- 12. Serve the finished nuts as a snack with cocktails or wine.
