🍽️ Spiced Kipferl with Gingerbread Spice

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 200 g ground almond kernels
- 175 g soft butter
- 125 g sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tsp gingerbread spice
- cinnamon-sugar mixture
Instructions
- 1. Put flour, ground almonds, butter, sugar, egg yolks, and gingerbread spice into a bowl.
- 2. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 3. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill.
- 4. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (conventional or fan-assisted, middle rack).
- 5. Take small pieces of dough, about the size of a walnut.
- 6. Roll the dough pieces into small balls between your palms.
- 7. Gently press the balls to form a curved crescent shape.
- 8. Place the Kipferl on a greased baking sheet.
- 9. Bake the Kipferl for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
- 10. Remove the Kipferl from the oven while they are still lukewarm.
- 11. Roll the Kipferl in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
