🍽️ Spiced Chocolate Milk

Ingredients
- 800 ml milk
- 100 ml whipping cream
- 100 g dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa content)
- 1 vanilla pod
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 pinch allspice
- 1 pinch cardamom
- 1 tsp. long pepper
- sugar
- 4 amaretti cookies
Instructions
- 1. Pour the milk and cream into a pot and heat them up.
- 2. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
- 3. Add the vanilla seeds and the whole cinnamon stick to the warm milk.
- 4. Break the chocolate into small pieces and add them to the pot.
- 5. Stir slowly until the chocolate has completely melted.
- 6. Season the mixture with allspice and long pepper.
- 7. Adjust the sweetness to your liking with sugar if needed.
- 8. Remove the cinnamon stick and the vanilla pod from the milk.
- 9. Rinse the removed spices under water.
- 10. Pour the hot chocolate into cups.
- 11. Garnish each glass with a cinnamon stick, a vanilla pod, and one amaretti cookie.
- 12. Serve the drink immediately while it is still hot.
