🍽️ Aromatic Juniper Butter

Ingredients
- 250 g Butter
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 slice ginger
- 2 pieces unpeeled orange peel
- 2 pieces unpeeled lemon peel
- 1 tbsp juniper berries
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 1 tsp allspice
Instructions
- 1. Place the butter in a small pot and melt it slowly.
- 2. Allow foam to form on the surface and skim it off with a spoon.
- 3. Carefully pour the clear butter into a clean pot, but leave the cloudy sediment in the old pot.
- 4. Reheat the clarified butter in the new pot.
- 5. Peel the garlic cloves and cut them in half.
- 6. Add the garlic and the remaining ingredients to the warm butter.
- 7. Let the mixture steep over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- 8. Remove the pot from the heat and let the butter cool down.
- 9. Pour the finished butter through a fine sieve to prepare it for use.
